Healthy Chats

Real conversations, deep listening, and space to reconnect with what matters most.

These sessions are for parents, grandparents, carers, educators, or mentors who are holding alot - and doing so with love. You might be navigating the big feelings of little people, feeling unsure about your role or response, or wrestling with questions that don’t have easy answers. Maybe you’re stretched thin, second-guessing yourself, or simply craving a place to slow down and be supported.

Healthy Chats offer just that: a spacious, grounded conversation with someone who will not just listen, but really hear you. Not to fix, diagnose, or advise - but to walk beside you as you untangle the knots, make sense of your experience, and reconnect with your own knowing.

Held in person at public beaches and bushland spaces of Jervis Bay, on the South Coast of NSW, these sessions invite you to bring whatever is present for you. Held outdoors whenever possible and drawing on the calming presence of the natural world, we sit, we talk, we breathe. You’re invited to speak freely, cry if needed, bring your questions, and follow the threads that arise. There’s no pressure to be anything other than who you are.

There’s something quietly powerful about walking side by side in nature. The rhythm of movement, open sky, and feeling of earth underfoot invite a kind of ease that can be hard to find indoors. Walking helps settle the nervous system, brings clarity to the mind, and supports presence through the simple awareness of wind, light, waves, and birdsong. Rooted in principles of narrative and somatic therapy, and informed by the Human Givens approach, this way of working supports you to make sense of your experience, reconnect with your inner resources, and meet core emotional needs in ways that feel embodied and sustainable - a truly holistic approach that nourishes mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual wellbeing.

Children are warmly welcome at these more informal, walk-and-talk style sessions - this is real life, and your family is part of it.

This offering is part of my supervised training in Holistic Psychotherapy and weaves together my decades of experience in education, nature-based mentoring, and parenting. What I bring is presence, deep listening, and the ability to reflect things back in a way that helps you see more clearly. Together, we create a space where insight can emerge - not from someone telling you what to do, but from within your own unfolding.

Booking a Session

Sessions run for approximately 60 minutes and are offered by donation while I complete the final weeks of my professional training in Holistic Psychotherapy.

Acknowledgement

With deep gratitude and respect, I offer my acknowledgement of the original people of Yuin Country - custodians of the lands, waters and skies where I live, learn, and offer my in-person work. I give thanks to the ancestors who came before us, the Elders who walk with us now, and those yet to come. I honour your deep and enduring connection to Country, your sovereignty, your stories, and the ancient wisdom that continues to be carried and shared.

I extend this acknowledgement to all First Nations peoples across this continent and beyond, and to the ancestors and wisdom keepers of our own personal lineages. Each thread holds teachings that guide us back to wholeness - to right relationship with Mother Earth, with others, and with the greater web of life.

May we listen deeply. May we walk with humility. May we remember that we are always connected.
