Tending to What Matters
We live in a time of great turmoil - emotionally, psychologically, and collectively. The challenges of the world touch us all, and it can feel overwhelming to hold them alongside the demands of daily life.

This is why tending to our mental, emotional, and relational health matters so deeply. When we care for ourselves in this way, we are also caring for the people we love and the wider web of life we are part of.
It is not selfish - it is one of the most compassionate acts we can offer.
Making time for this work before crisis arrives allows space for balance, connection, and resilience to grow.
In doing so, we strengthen not only our own lives, but also the lives of those around us.
What is Holistic Psychotherapy?
Holistic Psychotherapy is a process for bringing deeper awareness and connection to self and relationships - a process that is in service to your own inner wisdom, to your soul.

It’s a space of deep listening and gentle inquiry that honours the whole of who you are - body, mind, heart, and spirit - and supports you to release patterns that no longer serve, reconnect with your inner guidance, and restore balance.
We are all born with essential psychological and emotional needs and the innate resources to meet them. When those needs go unmet, or our resources become blocked, challenges and distress arise. Holistic Psychotherapy helps you to unlock the pathways to healing, resilience, and alignment with your true self.
Holistic Psychotherapy brings together insights from neuroscience, biochemistry, and somatic practices, blending them with the time-tested wisdom of Eastern philosophy and earth-based traditions, and honouring the many parts of self that sometimes feel at odds.
At its heart, Holistic Psychotherapy is about alignment - supporting you to live more fully in touch with your own wholeness, wisdom, purpose, and unique place in the web of life.

How does it work?
Using conversation, imagination, felt-sense awareness, and embodied practices, this multi-dimensional approach is compassionate, practical, and often remarkably effective - helping address both past trauma and present challenges in ways that feel right for you.

Rather than focusing on diagnosis or pathology, it focuses on what you need in this moment to restore balance, build resilience, and reconnect with your own inner strengths.

Individual sessions are typically 60 minutes in duration. We work gently and responsively within that time in a way that suits your own unique and individual needs.
Online Sessions
Via Zoom, we connect across distance and circumstance, embracing the gift of modern technology to bring support directly to you wherever you are. Together, we explore your inner landscape, work through challenges, and draw on your innate resources for growth.

Online sessions offer flexibility and ease, allowing you to prioritise your wellbeing even when life is full, childcare is tight, or you live further away. You can access support wherever you are while still experiencing the same depth, presence, and effectiveness as in-person sessions.

Where helpful and appropriate, simple rewilding practices can be woven in to bring grounding, presence, and deeper connection into your process.

In Person Sessions
In-person sessions are held outdoors at a private bushland location in Tomerong, NSW. In this setting, therapy unfolds under the sky, guided by the rhythm of the land. Nature becomes an active participant in the process - grounding, reflecting, and restoring.
In these sessions there are opportunities to explore simple rewilding practices such as barefoot walking, sit-spots, or mindful wandering as tools to open new layers of awareness and healing. The trees, birds, wind, and earth all become allies, helping you remember your place in the living world.
Couples & Relationship Counselling
Life is shaped by the relationships we have with ourselves and others.
Couples and relationship counselling offers a space to explore what is moving between you, to listen deeply, and to tend to the patterns that support or strain your connection. Together we create space for honest communication, repair, and new possibilities for growth, intimacy, and understanding.

These 90-minute sessions are held online or in person, and are offered by private arrangement only. This allows the work to be shaped thoughtfully around your relationship and its unique dynamics. If you’re interested in exploring couples therapy, you’re invited to connect with me directly to discuss your needs and arrange a time.

A little about me...
As a Holistic Psychotherapist and Rapport-Based Relating Coach, I offer a grounded, relational approach to growth, healing, and connection.
My practice draws on decades of both lived and professional experience in early childhood education, rewilding, and regenerative cultural practice, weaving together what I’ve learned about human connection, resilience, and transformation. I have always been drawn to what it means to feel seen, safe, and understood in the midst of real life.
Holistic psychotherapy combines evidence-based approaches with body awareness, imagination, and nature connection, while Rapport-Based Relating offers practical tools to foster understanding and connection in your relationships. At the heart of my approach is a commitment to curiosity, empathy, and a deep respect for your unique inner landscape.

Over the years, I’ve guided countless individuals, parents, and families through times of challenge, change, and awakening. Today, I offer a calm, nurturing space where you can explore what’s unfolding, restore balance, and reconnect with your own innate wisdom.

This work is my calling and my commitment—to walk beside you as you remember your wholeness and step more fully into your life, relationships, and potential.
Walking Together
This work is not something we are meant to do alone.
In a culture that so often prizes independence and individualism, I am passionate about supporting repair - to our sense of connection with ourselves, each other, and the world around us. Connection is the balm - soothing and supporting - a catalyst for repair and health.

As your therapist, I’m not here to ‘heal’ you - your capacity to heal already lives within you - my role is to help you remember and trust it, as we walk the edges of life together.
Sometimes that means holding space and bearing witness, sometimes offering guidance, mentoring or teaching, sometimes simply sitting with what is, with compassionate awareness.
Even the hardest seasons of life can open the way to new growth, deeper wholeness,
and a renewed sense of belonging.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is this type of therapy right for me?
You don’t need to be diagnosed with a mental health disorder to seek support, Holistic Psychotherapy is for anyone seeking genuine change, deeper understanding, or support through life’s challenges. You might be feeling stressed or overwhelmed with the demands of daily life or you may be experiencing a significant life event, relationship or adjustment difficulties. Or you might simply be curious about exploring your own inner landscape in a new way. This approach invites your whole self—body, mind, and spirit—into the process, helping you reconnect with your own inner wisdom and restore balance in a way that feels right for you.
What's the difference between a counsellor, psychologist, and psychotherapist?
The terms counsellor, psychologist, and psychotherapist are often used interchangeably. While all three support mental health and wellbeing, each works in a slightly different way.
Counsellors typically provide short-term support to address specific present-day challenges and developing coping strategies.
Psychologists may focus on assessment, diagnosis, and evidence-based treatment plans, often within a medical framework.
Psychotherapists explore the deeper emotional, relational, and unconscious patterns that shape your experience—often working over a longer period fostering self awareness and lasting change.
Holistic psychotherapy integrates a range of approaches while also considering your body, emotions, past and current experiences, relationships, and connection with nature and spirit.
What should I expect from the first session?
The first session is a gentle beginning.
We’ll talk about what’s bringing you here and what feels most important right now, moving at a pace that feels comfortable for you. There’s no pressure to share everything or to have it all worked out.
I work in a way that aims to be supportive and useful even if this is the only session you have. There’s no expectation of a long or ongoing commitment—our time together is focused on helping you feel clearer, steadier, or more supported around what you’re carrying. If you choose to continue, further sessions can offer space to explore deeper patterns over time, in a way that feels right for you.
I don’t have anyone to look after my children — can I bring them or have them nearby during the session?
Therapy works best when you have space to focus entirely on yourself.
For this reason, sessions are held without children present, whether in person or online. Many people seek therapy because they are feeling stretched, pressured, or carrying guilt around parenting—this is not a failing, but a sign that support is needed.
Creating time and space for yourself is an investment in your wellbeing and your family. Having uninterrupted space allows the session to truly support you, rather than asking you to keep tending to others while you’re seeking care for yourself.
What if I need to cancel or reschedule my appointment?
Psychotherapy is an investment in yourself. It takes time, courage and a willingness to learn and grow through discomfort. And I understand that life can sometimes be unpredictable. If you need to reschedule or cancel, please give at least 24 hours’ notice so that your session time can be offered to someone else. Cancellations made within 24 hours will incur a full session fee unless there are exceptional circumstances.
Do I need a referral?
No referral is required. You can book directly and begin whenever you feel ready.
How do online sessions work and what do I need to prepare?
Online sessions take place via a secure video link. You’ll need a quiet, private space where you can speak freely, and a stable internet connection. Some people like to have a journal, cup of tea, or something comforting nearby. The experience is much like being in the same room—many clients find it just as effective and sometimes even more convenient.
Where are in-person sessions located?
Held in Tomerong, NSW, in person sessions take place outdoors, surrounded by peaceful bushland that naturally supports a sense of grounding and ease. Guided by the rhythm of the land, Nature becomes an active participant in the therapy process.
How many sessions do people usually do?
It depends on your needs and what you’re hoping to work through. Some people come for one or a few sessions to explore a specific challenge, while others continue for several months or longer as part of an ongoing process of growth and healing. We’ll regularly review how things are going together so the process remains supportive and relevant for you.
Do you offer packages of sessions?
Yes, I offer both single-session bookings and packages for those who wish to commit to ongoing work. Packages can help make therapy more affordable and create a rhythm of continuity that supports deeper transformation. Please contact me to arrange a package option that suits your needs.
What is the suggested frequency?
Many clients begin with weekly sessions, especially at the start, to build momentum and trust in the process. Over time, we might shift to fortnightly or monthly sessions, depending on what feels right and supportive for you.
Is psychotherapy covered under the Mental Health Care Plan?
Holistic psychotherapy is not currently covered under Medicare or the Mental Health Care Plan. However, many people find the freedom of working outside the medical model—without diagnosis or time limits—deeply beneficial. Private health rebates may be available depending on your provider.
What if I'm in crisis and need immediate help?
